Foreign Post Office counter at Head Post Office, Kanpur has started functioning w.e.f. 2^nd April, 1994. Presently only export parcels are being handled at Foreign Post Office and One inspector is posted for this work.

FOREIGN POST OFFICE, AGRA

Earlier the trade at Agra and adjoining places like Firozabad, Shikohabad, Hathras, Aligarh and Mathura were required to approach the foreign post office situated at Delhi. Now Agra has been declared as a land customs station vide notification No.23/95 dated 28.03.95 read with notification No.63/94 dated 21.11.94 and a foreign post office established at Sanjay Place Post Office, Agra.started functioning w.e.f. 01.12.1995 in which now only export parcels are being booked.
